Valentines: Outlaw Holiday

The crowd came out to First Amendment Gallery in Minneapolis for Cold Blooded Warm Hearted in -8F weather. They checked out the work of Dalien, Fick, Hosford, Krueger & Schmid. student).People loved our stuff!!! Beatrix*Jar rocked it with their circuit bending magic and Christa Dalien stole the show, selling EVERYTHING! (At least Krueger and I can claim her as our student, but still....)
The people danced to dj Wez and Mike Davis, masterminds of Burlesque of North America, a killer rock poster screenprinting place. A perfect holiday- go outlaws!

Cold Blooded Warm Hearted on Valentines Day

A group exhibition of prints by Christa Dalien, Bill Fick, Mark Hosford, Michael Krueger, and Jenny Schmid. Cold Blooded, Warm Hearted brings together five accomplished artists from around the country whose work draws from historical and present politics, connections to the environment, and cultural criticism. All the artists share a comic irony, combining a cold-blooded sense of humor with a warm-hearted love of their subject matter. Combined with a musical performance by the soulful, electronic duo Beatrix*Jar, this opening offers a perfect salve for the most controversial holiday of the season, Valentine's Day.
